News Release for Friday, 11/9/18: On 11/8/18 at 4:40 p.m., Kristi L. Petronelli, 32, of Fulton, NY was arrested for Petit Larceny following an incident at the Town of Granby Wal-Mart. Ms. Petronelli is scheduled to answer the charge on 11/19/18 in the Town of Granby Court. On 11/8/18 at 10:39 p.m., Michael P. Valenzuela, 38, of Mexico, NY was charged with AUO, 3rd degree and Inadequate Plate Lamp following a traffic stop on SR 104 in the Town of New Haven. News Release for Thursday, 11/8/18: On 10/30/18 at 2:51 p.m., Breanna P. Stoutenger, 19, of Fulton, NY was charged with False Inspection Certificate and Unauthorized Stickers or Handbills on Windshield or Rear Windows following a traffic stop on SR 481 in the Town of Volney. Ms. Stoutenger is scheduled to answer the charges on 11/19/18 in the Town of Volney Court. On 11/3/18 at 5:05 p.m., Charles A. Koegel, 29, of Phoenix, NY was operating a 2015 Ford pickup registered to Fab Site Industries of Phoenix, NY in a northwest direction on CR 37 in the Town of Hastings, ½ mile northwest of US RT 11, when he reportedly lost control causing the vehicle to exit the roadway and strike two mailboxes and a utility pole. Mr. Koegel was issued UTT’s for Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident and Speed not Reasonable. Alcohol involvement seems to have been a contributing factor. On 11/7/18 at 12:40 p.m., Frederick J. Adams, 53, of Oswego, NY was operating a 2013 Dodge pickup east on Dutch Ridge Rd. in the Town of Scriba when he reportedly pulled out onto SR 481 causing the vehicle to collide with a 2017 Mazda traveling north and being operated by Shannon Rose McClean, 20, of E. Williston, NY. Mr. Adams was issued a UTT for Failure to Yield the Right of Way. On 11/7/18 at 7:57 p.m., Edward H. Scruton, 26, of Oswego, NY was arrested based on an arrest warrant issued out of Oswego City Court following the investigation into a suspicious person incident on CR 4 in the Town of Scriba. News Release for Wednesday, 11/7/18: On 11/2/18 at 12:29 p.m., Hun Rena, 21, of Syracuse, NY was operating a 2007 Honda north on SR 481 in the Town of Schroeppel, 200 feet south of mile marker 31.9, when she reportedly lost control causing the vehicle causing it to strike a guard rail then spin and travel down an embankment. Ms. Rena was transported by ambulance to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse. Unsafe lane change seems to have been a contributing factor. On 11/2/18 at 6:36 p.m., Thomas R. Watson, 60, of Oswego, NY was charged with AUO, 2nd degree and Driving Across Hazard Markings following a traffic stop at the intersection of SR 3 and SR 13 in the Town of Richland. Mr. Watson is scheduled to answer the charges on 11/14/18 in the Town of Richland Court. On 11/3/18 at 9:48 p.m., Jordan M. Horn, 19, of Oswego, NY was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana following a traffic stop on SR 104 in the Town of Oswego. Mr. Horn is scheduled to answer the charge on 11/19/18 in the Town of Oswego Court. On 11/3/18 at 10:32 p.m., Roderick T. Macomber, 28, of Fulton, NY was charged with AUO, 2nd degree and Inadequate Plate Lamp following a traffic stop on West Broadway Street in the City of Fulton. Mr. Macomber is scheduled to answer the charges on 11/15/18 in the City of Fulton Court. On 11/4/18 at 7:58 a.m., Mark K. Thomas, 48, of Williamstown, NY was arrested for Unlawful Possession of Marijuana following an incident in the Town of Amboy. Mr. Thomas is scheduled to answer the charge on 11/20/18 in the Town of Amboy Court. On 11/4/18 at 9:08 p.m., Austin L. Carlson, 18, of Fulton, NY was charged with Operating a MV w/o Inspection Certificate; False Inspection Certificate and Speeding following a traffic stop on CR 57 in the Town of Schroeppel. Mr. Carlson is scheduled to answer the charges on 11/28/18 in the Town of Schroeppel Court. On 11/6/18 at 7:14 a.m., Richard H. West Jr., 31, of Sandy Creek, NY was arrested based on an Oswego County Probation Warrant. Wilkinson, 57, of Cleveland, NY was operating a 2017 Subaru east on SR 49 in the Town of West Monroe when the vehicle reportedly rear ended a 2005 Dodge that was stopped at the intersection with CR 11 and being operated by Russell C. Preston, 27, of Cleveland, NY. News Release for Tuesday, 11/6/18: On 11/4/18 at 7:58 a.m., Rashon L. Adams, 39, of Williamstown, NY was arrested for Criminal Mischief, 4th degree, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana following a harassment complaint where he allegedly tore the windshield wiper off a vehicle after not being given a ride. Mr. Adams was arraigned in the Town of Williamstown Court by Hon. Judge Bull. At the same time, Mark K. Thomas, 48, of Williamstown, NY was arrested for Criminal Mischief, 4th degree and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana after he was allegedly involved in the harassment complaint. Thomas is scheduled to appear in Amboy Court on 11/20/18. On 11/4/18 at 12:59 p.m., Timothy J. Tompkins, 27, of Fulton, NY was arrested on a bench warrant issued out of the Town of Granby Court. Mr. Tompkins was arraigned in the Town of Hannibal Court and remanded to OCJ on $2,500 cash or $5,000 bond. Mr. Tompkins was scheduled to appear in Town of Granby Court on 11/5/18. On 11/5/18 at 9:26 a.m., Jordan M. Perkins, 24, of Pulaski, NY was arrested for AUO, 2nd degree (8 scoffs on 4 dates); Operating Motor Vehicle w/o Inspection Certificate; No License and License Plate violation, following a traffic stop on I-81 South in Town Parish. Mr. Perkins was arraigned in the Town of Parish Court by Hon. Ms. Powers was remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,500 cash or $5,000 bond with a return to Town of Scriba Court on 11/15/18 and a return to City of Oswego Court on 11/29/18 On 11/2/18 at 11:55 p.m., Christopher M. Fountaine, 41, of Oswego, NY was charged with AUO, 3rd degree and No Inspection Certificate following a traffic stop on County Route 8 in the Town of Granby. Mr. Fountaine is scheduled to appear in the Town of Granby Court on 11/5/18. On 11/3/18 at 12:03 p.m., Kevin G. Moran, 52, of Sterling, NY was arrested for Petit Larceny, a class A misdemeanor following the investigation into an incident that occurred at the Town of Granby Wal-Mart. Mr. Moran is scheduled to appear in the Town of Granby Court on 11/12/18. On 11/3/18 at 4:30 p.m., Jeffrey C. Beardslee, 58, of Mexico, NY was arrested for Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class A misdemeanor, stemming from an investigation where he allegedly tampered with Halloween candy in the Town of Mexico. Luberto, 23, of Williamstown, NY was arrested for Assault, 3rd following the investigation into an incident that occurred in July 2018. Bryant, 23, of Pennellville, NY was arrested for Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, and Harassment, 2nd degree stemming from a domestic dispute that occurred in the Town of Schroeppel where he allegedly physically attacked the victim. Mr. Bryant was arraigned in the Town of Palermo Court by Hon. Donald Nipper and remanded to OCJ on $1,000 cash or $2,000 bond and is scheduled to reappear in Town of Schroeppel Court on 11/7/18. On 11/3/18 at 10:00 p.m., Allison M. Plumley, 43, of Fulton, NY was charged with AUO, 2nd degree, Uninspected Motor Vehicle, and Inadequate Plate Lamp following a traffic stop in the Town of Granby. Ms. Plumley is scheduled to appear in the Town of Granby Court on 11/19/18. On 11/3/18 at 10:42 p.m., Rachel A. Doty, 46, of Fulton, NY was arrested for Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, and Inadequate Plate Lamp following the investigation into a motor vehicle accident on County Route 3 in the Town of Granby. On 10/31/18 at 7:43 a.m., Matthew J. Miniatt, 52, of Rome, NY was operating a 2013 Hyundai south on Franklin Ave. in the Town of Oswego when he attempted to make a left-hand turn onto SR 104 causing the vehicle to collide with a 2011 Chevrolet traveling west and being operated by Brett D. Trainor, 23, of Mexico, NY. Mr. Miniatt was transported by ambulance to Oswego Hospital. Devendorf, 59, of Oswego, NY was arrested for Grand larceny, 4th degree; Welfare Fraud, 4th degree and Offering a False Instrument for Filing, 1st degree, all class E felonies stemming from the investigation into an incident in which she allegedly received benefits from the Oswego County Department of Social Services between 10/1/12 and 9/30/14 which she most likely would not have if she had reported income. Ziparo, 24, of Pennellville, NY was charged with AUO, 2nd degree; Registration Suspended and No License following the investigation into a complaint in the Town of Schroeppel. Ms. Ziparo is scheduled to answer the charges on 11/14/18 in the Town of Schroeppel Court. On 10/24/18 at 12:41 a.m., Riley J. Ingoldby, 18, of Fulton, NY was charged with No License; Inadequate Plate Lamp; Inadequate Lights and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana following a traffic stop on SR 264 in the Town of Schroeppel. On 10/27/18 at 9:03 a.m., Morgan Danielle Cook, 22, of Oswego, NY was operating a 2017 Chevrolet east on Skyline Drive when she reportedly lost control on a curve causing the vehicle to exit the roadway and strike a utility pole then a residence at 76 Skyline Dr. The utility pole was reportedly dragged by the vehicle and struck a parked trailer at the same residence. Ms. Cook was issued UTT’s for Speed not Reasonable; Failure to Keep Right and Reckless Driving. On 10/27/18 at 2:25 p.m., Michael D. Carr, 61, of Altmar, NY was operating a 2003 Oldsmobile west on Rome Rd. in the Village of Pulaski when he reportedly lost control, when attempting to avoid a slowed vehicle also traveling west, causing the vehicle to collide with a 2017 Kia heading south on the I81 south on ramp and being operated by Larisa S. Minot, 59, of Richland, NY and a road marker sign. Mr. Carr was issued a UTT for Speed not Reasonable. On 10/28/18 at 5:46 a.m., Richard G. Nelson, 31, of Oswego, NY was arrested for 2 counts of Petit Larceny, a class A misdemeanor stemming from the investigation into two separate incidents at the Town of Granby Wal-Mart. Mr. Nelson is scheduled to answer the charges on 11/19/18 in the Town of Granby Court. On 10/28/18 at 10:46 a.m., Michael E. Cole, 38, of Mexico, NY was arrested for Criminal Contempt, 2nd degree, a class A misdemeanor following the investigation into an incident that occurred in the Town of Palermo. Oswego County Sheriff Reuel A. Todd has announced that a Young Snowmobile Operator Safety Course will be held in December. New York State Law requires that youths ages 10 through 17 successfully complete an eight hour Young Snowmobile Operator Safety Course and be in possession of a Safety Certificate before they can legally operate a snowmobile. With this certificate, the following applies: Youths ages 10 through 13 may operate a snowmobile off their own property while accompanied by (within 500 feet of) a person at least 18 years of age. Youths ages 14 through 17 may operate a snowmobile off their own property without an adult. A 1 day course will be held at the Oswego County Public Safety Center, 39 Churchill Road, Oswego as follows: December 16, 2018 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM There is no charge for the training. A parent or guardian must accompany students to the classroom on the day of the course to sign a parental permission form. Pre-registration is required and class size will be strictly limited due to available space. News Release for Friday, 10/12/18: On 10/11/18 at 8:57 a.m., Joshua A. Burr, 30, of Cleveland, NY was arrested for Criminal Trespass, 3rd degree, a class B misdemeanor; Assault, 3rd degree, a class A misdemeanor and Harassment, 2nd degree following an incident in the Town of New Haven where he allegedly punched and kicked along with hitting the victim with a big stick. Mr. Burr was arraigned in the Town of New Haven Court and remanded to the OCJ in lieu of $250 cash or $1,000 bond with a return to court on 10/18/18. This case remains an open investigation. On 10/11/18 at 10:27 a.m., Michael E. Rankin, 45, of Niskayuna, NY was operating a 2007 Dodge pickup west on SR 3 in the Town of Hannibal when the vehicle reportedly turned left onto SR 104 causing it to collide with a 2018 Dodge traveling east and being operated by Michael J. Pereira, 52, of Hannibal, NY. Mr. Rankin was issued UTT’s for Failure to Yield the Right of Way and AUO, 3rd degree. On 10/11/18 at 1:29 p.m., Stephen T. Boyzuck, 73, of Oswego, NY was operating a 2011 Chevrolet pickup reportedly making a left-hand turn onto CR 42 from Nestle Drive in the Town of Minetto when the vehicle collided with a 2003 Dodge pickup traveling east and being operated by David Alen Monroe, 26, of Oswego, NY. Mr. Boyzuck was issued a UTT for Failure to Yield the Right of Way and Mr. Monroe was issued a UTT for Unsafe Tires. On 10/11/18 at 2:02 p.m., Irving Soto Jr., 28, of Oswego, NY was operating a 2006 Nissan north on CR 6 in the Town of Schroeppel when he reportedly lost control at the intersection with Barnard Rd. causing the vehicle to collide with a 1995 Chevrolet pickup stopped to make a left-hand turn onto Barnard Rd. and being operated by William F. Shallcross, 34, of Phoenix, NY. Mr. Soto was issued UTT’s for AUO, 2nd degree and Imprudent Speed. He was arraigned in the Town of Schroeppel Court and is scheduled to return on 11/7/18. On 10/11/18 at 5:55 p.m., Joshua D. Mason Sr., 34, of Fulton, NY was arrested based on a Family Court Warrant issued out of Oswego County. Mr. Mason was arraigned in the Town of Scriba Court and remanded to the OCJ in lieu of $500/$1,000 bail with a return to Oswego County Family Court on 10/12/18. On 10/11/18 at 9:34 p.m., Ronald C. Canfield Jr., 30, Oswego, NY was arrested for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, 4th degree, a class E felony; Reckless Driving, 2nd degree, a class A misdemeanor; AUO, 2nd degree; 3 counts of Criminal Mischief, 4th degree, a class A misdemeanor; Fleeing Officer in MV, 3rd degree, a class A misdemeanor; Reckless Driving; No License; Speeding; 4 counts of Failure to Stop at STOP Sign and Driving too Left of Pavement Markings stemming from the investigation into an incident that occurred on 9/13/18 where he was allegedly observed operating a stolen vehicle out of the City of Oswego in the City of Fulton that led to a police pursuit and the vehicle colliding with another vehicle then a residence, catching the vehicle and residence on fire. Mr. Canfield was arraigned in the Town of Volney Court and remanded back to the OCJ on $2,500/$5,00 bail, where he is a resident on separate charges. He is scheduled to reappear on 10/15/18. At the same time, Mr. Canfield was arrested for Petit Larceny, a class A misdemeanor following the investigation into an incident in which he allegedly stole consumable goods from a business in the Town of Volney. He is scheduled to return to the Town of Volney Court on 10/15/18. On 10/11/18 at 11:10 p.m., Jerrod J. Bardin, 20, of Wolcott, NY was arrested based on a Violation of Probation Warrant issued through the City of Fulton Court. Mr. Bardin was arraigned in the Town of Granby Court and remanded to the OCJ in lieu of $2,500 cash or $5,000 bond with a return to City of Fulton Court on 10/12/18. At the same time, Mr. Bardin was arrested based on a Bench Warrant issued out of the Town of Granby Court. On 10/10/18 at 12:57 p.m., Brian M. Fowler, 31, of Oswego, NY was arrested for Petit Larceny, a class A misdemeanor following an incident at the Town of Granby Wal-Mart. Greenwood, 64, of Fulton, NY was operating a 2003 GMC south on SR 48 in the Town of Granby, 1/10 mile north of CR 85, when she reportedly lost control causing the vehicle to exit the roadway and strike a sign post then a wooden fence. Ms. Greenwood was issued UTT’s for Driving Across Hazard Markings and Uninspected Motor Vehicle. On 10/11/18 at 4:23 a.m., Erik L. Estrada, 26, of Camillus, NY was arrested based on a Bench Warrant issued out of the Village of Central Square Court.
