*** Notification *** ***Message from the Board of Sewer Commissioners*** Attention All Village Residents We are at a Critical Level, and need your help to remedy…. FOG (Fats, Oil, and Grease) has accumulated to a critical level in our sewer plant. Removal of FOG and/or NYS DEC non-compliance fines increases costs to the Village, and charges to our customers. To help keep rates down, we need your help. Please take every effort possible to eliminate FOG into our sewer system. Please be sure no fats are put directly into the system, and always scrape and wipe FOG from dishes before washing. Rinsing grease down the drain with hot water is not only causing accumulation at the sewer facility, but also in your own drain lines. Clogged drain lines from your home to the street are the responsibility of the homeowner. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated as we continue with this year of construction. Thank you, Board of Sewer Commissioners
