Picts part 2...

Despite the storm we had a successful 5th annual National Night Out Against Crime. Thank you residents, staff, volunteers, and vendors for sticking it out. Residents and friends enjoyed hot dogs, Pizza, birch beer, Rita’s ice, popcorn, Herr’s snacks, and candy. Our event paid a special tribute to our own David Guidon who passed away in April. Dave was an asset to our staff, especially at NNO and all borough events. Our event encompassed police, fire and ambulance as well as drug recovery programs, women’s self-defend products, City of Bethlehem arson dog demo, Boy Scouts, and Wolf Pack Search and Recovery.

Gearing up for tonight!!! Hope to see everyone at the municipal park on Cambria Street for our 5th Annual “National Night Out Against Crime”! 5-8pm

***Emergency Mgt. was notified this morning that the Storms that occurred last evening flooded Musikfest along the Monocacy Creek, which overflowed into the Lehigh. Debris ie coolers, equipment and porta-johns are floating down the river and could run through Freemansburg. At this point the river is high but there is no actual flooding in the Borough-we just wanted the public to be aware in case you see items in the river.

Don’t forget to be ready for the giant water slide this year! So far the weather is looking great for NNO-fingers crossed 🤞🏼
