R.A.D. is a free four-day training hosted by CCRI where you can become trained in defense practices, situational awareness, simulation and more.

#CCRIstudent Luis Minaya stars in The Gamm Theatre's first production at its new Warwick location. Twenty-two-year-old Minaya of Providence, now in his second year studying musical theater at CCRI, plays the role of hotel employee Pedro in the Gamm’s adaptation of the 1961 play “The Night of the Iguana” written by Tennessee Williams. The CCRI Players are kicking off the 2018-19 season with “Green Day’s American Idiot.” The Tony Award-winning hit musical includes every song from Green Day’s album “American Idiot” as well as several songs from its follow-up release, “21st Century Breakdown.” Show times are 7:30 p.m., Oct. 18 to 20, and 2 p.m., Oct. 20 and 21, in the Bobby Hackett Theater at the Knight Campus in Warwick. Today is #JAADay at the Knight Campus through 3 p.m. in Room 1040. Do you plan on completing your degree at CCRI and then transferring to Rhode Island College (RIC) or University of Rhode Island? Through the JAA program you will be conditionally accepted while a student at CCRI. Stop by JAA Day to learn more about the program and requirements. Students already enrolled in JAA are required to receive advising from a CCRI advisor and a URI or RIC advisor each semester. CCRI will host a free four-day Rape Aggression Defense (R.A.D.) training from 4 to 6 p.m. on Oct. 29 and 30 and Nov. 5 and 6 in Room 4090 at the Knight Campus in Warwick. Receive training from experts in defense practices, situational awareness, risk awareness and avoidance, and simulation. Instructors are Officers Antonio Angelino and Lori Edmonds. Space is limited. The college will be closed and no classes will be held on Monday, Oct. 8, in observance of Columbus Day. Wednesday classes will follow a Monday schedule.
