What a great (although a little rainy) morning for High five Friday at Round Top Elementary School! We love seeing all the smiling faces each and every week.

On Friday Nov. 9th at 6:00pm at the Law Enforcement Memorial on the State House grounds, the lives of four fallen officers during 2017 will be celebrated along with one located that had not previously received this honor from 1921.

We would like to congratulate Corporal Scott Hunger on being promoted to Investigator today! Thank you for your dedication to both the department and the Richland County community.

We would like to congratulate two of our deputies on their marriage. SRO Casey Chestnut and Deputy Ryan Moore were married by Sheriff Lott this past weekend. This will be Sheriff Lott's 5th wedding he has performed for his deputies. Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Moore!

Sheriff Leon Lott and special guests K9 Emy and Cpl Walmsley were at the Spring Valley Baptist Church BALL (Be Active Live Longer) Club meeting this morning talking about crime prevention and answering questions about our K9s.

Investigator Kilcoyne presented Sheriff Lott an American flag flown in support of Operation Inherent Resolve by the 157th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron. The flag was presented it to the Sheriff in recognition of the continued support shown to our military by the Sheriff and the Richland County Sheriff's Department.

Sheriff Leon Lott and Lt. Danny Brown enjoyed an evening of fellowship at the Light in the Forest men’s event at Gateway Baptist Church. Lt. Brown spoke to the group about faith and family, answered some LivePD questions and of course had photos taken with some fans.
