This past week, Team DJJ pulled together to keep our youth and staff safe and cared for during Florence. We relocated more than 40 youth and about a dozen staff from our Coastal Evaluation Center to Columbia. It's so important to keep our youth engaged and occupied during these weather events. Board games, basketball and craft projects were just a few of the ways we constructively passed the time. Clinical, educational, medical and other regular services for our youth also continued without interruption. In the next day or two, once all our facilities are deemed safe and prepared, our youth and regional staff will return to their normal locations. Go Team DJJ! #EmpoweringYouthfortheFuture
