University of South Carolina students, please take a look at the changes to the moped laws in SC. All mopeds MUST be registered with South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles by 11/19/18 to legally drive on state roads. The nearest DMV to campus is located at 1630 Shop Rd. Columbia, SC 29201.

Officers educated students on the risks and effects of impaired driving at #TheMourningAfter event on Greene St. with the use of impairment goggles. So far this year, there have been 843 traffic fatalities in the state of SC (20 more than this time last year). We ask you to do your part in being safe on the roadways, and please plan ahead if you plan to drink. #SpursUpForSafety #SoberOrSlammer #DesignatedDriver

The annual Trick or Treat with the Greeks event is tonight from 5pm - 7pm. Road closures will be in effect from 4pm - 8pm, and vehicles will not be allowed in or out of the area during that time. Take a look at the road closures.
