We have been advised 911 service has been restored.

******UPDATE******FROM Watertown SD Police Department. This morning’s 911 outage has been partially restored; however continues to be investigated by 911 officials as well as the major telephone companies. Currently, a temporary solution has been created that will allow for residents in Clark,Codington, Day, Deuel, Grant and Hamlin Counties to dial 911 and receive 911 services. The current solution is a temporary solution that allows for 911 calls to be answered on the Watertown Police Department’s business line at 882-6210. Due to the fact that this is a temporary solution with limited functionality, we again remind callers to know the address and telephone number to the location that they are calling from as a precaution. Further information will be provided as it is received. Clark County Sheriff's Office

School is right around the corner. Like it or not. School days bring congestion: School buses are picking up their passengers, kids on bikes are hurrying to get to school before the bell rings, harried parents are trying to drop their kids off before work. It's never more important for drivers to slow down (school zone speed limit) and pay attention than when kids are present – especially before and after school. ***** Also the cross walk has been moved this year to Idaho St. crossing over SD HWY 212 near the Clark Elementary School. *Ever Growing Cyber Safety* https://www.us-cert.gov/ncas/current-activity/2018/08/10/Back-School-Cyber-Safety
