The Davison County Sheriff's Office has a opening for a Civil Process / Accounts Administrator. This position consists of but not limited to managing Civil Executions, Levy's, Property Foreclosures and Accounts Receivable/Payable. Good computer skills a must. This is a full-time position. Base wage starts at $16.62 per hour, negotiable upon experience. State retirement, paid vacation and medical leave, group health insurance available. The Davison County Jail has openings for Corrections Officers. One full-time and some part-time positions are available. Due to staff-to-inmate ratio, female applicants will receive priority processing. The Davison Co Jail is a 72-bed, full-service jail, housing newly arrested and sentenced, misdemeanor and felony subjects. Full-time CO's work 12-hour shifts on a rotating basis. Part-time hours are set to meet the Jail's needs. Starting salary is $16.62 - $17.66 depending upon experience. Applicants must be 21 years of age, pass a written test, functionality physical and drug screening required. Training will be provided. Health Insurance, Sick Leave, Paid Vacation, Holiday pay, SD State Retirement included, uniforms furnished. ****In Custody**** On 6/18/18, Harley Miller was taken into custody. Harley Miller had warrants in Davison County for 2nd degree escape, along with other felony arrest warrants. On 05/19/18, Harley failed to return to the Davison County Jail after he was released for work and he was placed on escape status.
