Bandera County Road and Crossing closures at 1:45 PM on 10/19/18 : N. Seco Creek Rd (mud over road) English Crossing Locations not on this list may be impassable or may become impassable at a moment's notice. Do not drive over flooded roads. Turn around, don't drown.

All roads in Bandera County are now open

On September 8, 2018 Bandera County Deputies executed a Search Warrant for a residence located off of East Pipe Creek Drive, Pipe Creek, Texas. The search of the residence yielded over 5 grams of Methamphetamines and over 5 ounces of Marijuana. Five residents were charge with multiple possession and deliver charges ranging in felony amounts.

As of Tuesday 9/11/18 at 2:00 PM All roads in Bandera County are open.

August 27th is the first day of school for Bandera and Medina ISD. •Be aware of and watch out for children near schools, bus stops, in the streets, in school parking lots, etc. •Always stop for school busses that are loading or unloading children.

On August 10, San Antonio Police Department recovered the 2012 Lincoln Navigator presumed stolen by Robert Lynch. Suspect is still at large. Contact the Bandera County Sheriff’s Office if you have any information on the suspect. 830-796-3771.

Update: There is no new information on Robert Lynch as of 6:00 PM. We will update with any information that can be released as soon as it becomes available.

Update: The last sighting puts the escapee between Rugh Hill and FM 1077 on the opposite side of the river from the City. Please continue to keep your vehicles and homes locked.

Attention: Residents in the area of State Highway 16 N and FM 470 Be on the lookout for a white male, 6’2 shaved head, last seen in a Camo T-Shirt and shorts. Possibly still handcuffed in the front. Please contact the Bandera County Sheriff’s Office immediately if you see this subject. Do not attempt to apprehend or approach him.

Criminal Activity in the Tarpley Area: Update on suspect information: Description of male: W/M Approx 30 years of age. Freshly shaved bald head and face. Males is approx 5'10" medium build, white shirt, blue jeans, he possibly has a black pit bull with him. Report any suspicious persons or activities to Bandera County Sheriff Office by calling (830) 796-3771

Criminal Activity in the Tarpley Area: Tarpley Residents should use extra safety precautions by locking all doors and vehicles and removing any easily accessible keys to any motorized vehicles, including ATVs, tractors, golf carts etc. Description of male: W/M Dirty blonde haired,unshaven face, approx 5'10" medium build, black shirt, black pants. Male appeared dirty at last sighting walking in the approx 12900-14000 block of FM 470 in early morning hours after midnight and before daylight Report any suspicious persons or activities to Bandera County Sheriff Office as soon as you see or hear suspicious persons or activities by calling (830) 796-3771
