We need your help on a gas drive off at Yes Way this morning. The vehicle described as white late model GMC Yukon. The driver was a young white female wearing blue jeans, pink jacket, tennis shoes and was talking on cell phone the entire time. The time was 7:56 am and entered the fuel island from Texas 6 and left traveling east towards Chillicothe. The driver is thought to be from Quanah. If you read this you need to know your credit card did not register and the store turned the pump on for you.

Attention Citizens of Quanah Beginning at dark tonight ATMOS Gas will be driving down the alleys in town doing a leak detection survey. This will be conducted tonight and tomorrow night. There is no leak or problems, this is a survey only. We just wanted to let everyone know ahead of time so nobody gets alarmed. The vehicle will be clearly marked and is easy to identify. If you have vehicles parked in the alley we would like to request that they be moved prior to tonight to ensure that ATMOS is able to conduct their survey with ease.

There is no active shooters at this time. Everything is under control. Please remain calm and be careful what information you pass along. I will release more information as this investigation progresses. Thank you, Sheriff Pat Laughery
