Please join us in welcoming the two newest Burleson PD officers to our family. We let them all know how blessed they are to be working in the great community of Burleson! Andrea Evans and Megan Jones were sworn in and presented with their badges during the ceremony on October 30. Family members, Chief Billy Cordell and Deputy Chief Doug Sandifer did the honors. The badge ceremony for new police officers confirm that the new officer is about to become part of a very special family and that it’s a privilege and an honor to wear the badge. The badge is earned, not given. The Burleson police department began in 1960.

Please join us in congratulating Detective Charles ‘Chaz’ Garrett who was promoted to the rank of sergeant, effective October 23, 2018. Sergeant Garrett is a nine-year veteran of the department. He has a passion for teaching others and has been actively involved with the department’s Police Explorer Program since 2012.
