It has been brought to our attention that someone is calling citizens asking for donations for the sheriff's department. The Morris County Sheriff's Department DOES NOT solicit for donations over the phone and does not authorize solicitations. If you recieve calls stating otherwise it is a scam. Also be aware of other types of scams and do not be a victim, if you are unsure of something please check into it and we would be happy to assist to make sure our citizens are protected. Jack Martin
