May 13th - 19th is National Law Enforcement week. Sheriff Gary Parsons and staff pay tribute to all fallen law enforcement officers by lowering the flag and decorating Sheriff R. V. Chadwell and Johnny Martin memorial.

Lee County Sheriff Parsons and Major Woodard with Deborah Wampler who is the Area Coordinator for Marsh Blood Drive. This is second-year Lee County Sheriff's office has participated and has came in as the second largest donor of any government agency in the area.

LEE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE On 04/06/18 Lee County Sheriffs Deputy Denver Scholl made a traffic stop in the Jonesville area of Lee County. Deputy Scholl made contact with the male driver identified as Mr. Sergio Ambriz who had active warrants out of Florida. After speaking with the subject deputies located approximately 34 ounces of methamphetamine located inside of the vehicle with a street value of $86,900.00 as well as a loaded firearm. Mr. Ambriz was charged with possession of a schedule II with intent to distribute, felon in possession of a firearm, and possession of a firearm while in possession of a schedule II with intent to distribute. Deputy Scholl was assisted at the scene by Sgt. Chris Dillman with LCSO and Officer Aaron Payne with Jonesville Police Department.
