Attention everyone, The roadways are still extremely slick and a lot of back roads are still covered in snow. Please be careful as you travel today, but if possible stay off the roads until VDOT has a chance to get them cleaned up. Thanks!

Attention Town of Dayton residents: There is a SCAM ALERT out for people calling and saying they are from Dayton Electric ( does not exist) or possibly from Harrisonburg Electric Commission. They are telling people that their electric will be turned off if they don't pay a fee. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION! Please check with your current electric provider by calling them yourself.
