The 2018 Click It or Ticket mobilization will begin on May 21st and run thru June 3rd. Surry County deputies will be out in force, participating in the "Click It or Ticket" mobilization. Buckle up, it could save your life!

Law Enforcement United - Road to Hope riders are leaving Chippokes State Park, on their way to the Ferry.

Law Enforcement United - Road to Hope 2018 It’s the Law Enforcement United annual Road to Hope bicycle event. Approximately 500 police officers from the LEU Virginia Division and 250 more from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland divisions will ride their bicycles to Haines Point in Washington D.C. to kick off National Police Week.

UPDATE TRAFFIC ALERT!!! One boat is running Wednesday morning at the Jamestown-Scotland Ferry. The Virginia Department of Transportation cautioned motorists to use an alternate route. This came several hours after the ferry which runs between Surry County and James City County was initially running at reduced capacity. It is unclear when full service will be restored to the ferry.
